3D High Speed Camera Technology, the Ultimate in Ball Flight and Course Simulation.

 

Two high speed cameras work simultaneously at separate 90 degree angles, creating the most accurate 3 dimensional ball flight detection.  The micro cameras using high quality CMOS sensors analyze the club path and ball flight at 1000 frames per second. Each camera uses a wide angle lens, enabling a large viewing window, so that all directional shots are captured from ball strike to screen.

 

Our system accurately tracks the golf ball in up to 30 separate locations, from the original strike point to 10 feet of ball flight. The golf club is also tracked for 2 feet before impact, continuing to the follow through.  The data provided by the cameras allows the software to mirror exactly the golfer’s shot and swing performance.

 

A camera located in the ceiling records ball velocity, horizontal launch angle, side spin, back spin, club speed, swing path, face angle, and shot detection.  With these direct measurements, the software engine enables very reliable calculations for carry, distance, shot height and flight time.  The top camera also measures putting velocity and putting direction on the 3 dimensional contoured greens.

 

A side camera tracks the ball in flight measuring vertical launch angle, ball velocity and side spin.  All shots, good or bad, are accurately registered, whether normal, lob, topped, hit thinly, etc.  All data is sent to the computer via high speed connections with enhanced host controllers, so that all data is analyzed instantly.
